This idea grew out of conversations amongst Langley Citizens who recognized the need to build a more inclusive community through free events.

Kindness Connects

This project is an opportunity for community members to demonstrate a commitment to the changing culture of Langley towards an inclusive community and heightening the awareness of how kindness connects people. Organizations that sign on with Kindness Connects embody the following principles:

·  That the first and best approach to others is kindness
·  A belief that kindness can be the first step to building a relationship
·  A belief that kindness is universally understood
·  A belief that expressions of kindness expect nothing in return
·  An awareness that a culture of kindness can bring a major shift in a person, family, community or, in fact, the world
·  Anyone has the ability to be kind
